FRDA is a non-profit and non-governmental organization established in 2001. FRDA's mission is to improve the quality of life for all people in Al-Fukhari village by developing their capacities to respond to new challenges and opportunities that shall help to reduce poverty and increase food security while protecting the environment. The grant was extended to finance the "Agricultural Open Lands Reclamation and Seedlings Planting in Al-Fukhari Village Project" which improved the standard of living of some 250 poor farmers and their families.
