The project consists of the following:

  • construction of a confluence dam;
  • installation of secondary feeding and main channels;
  • construction of a pumping station;
  • land clearing, drainage system and machinery; and
  • consultancy services.
The project works will enable the the cultivation of 5,000 ha during the rainy season and 3,000 ha during the dry season.
