AMRET is a micro-finance institution engaged primarily in the provision of financial services to the rural population of Cambodia, many of which are used to finance agricultural activities, notably crop production, animal husbandry, fishing and palm sugar production. Credit is also provided for other small business ventures. This line of credit will enable AMRET to expand its services into two new provinces, diversify its funding sources and decentralize some of its operational and financial management to the provincial level.
