AFED's 2017 Annual Report and Conference

The grant sponsored AFED's tenth annual report on the State of Arab Environment entitled "Arab Environment in 10 years" as well as AFED's tenth annual conference, during which the report was launched and debated. AFED's 10th annual conference was held on 2 – 3 November 2017 in Beirut with the participation of 400 delegates from 46 countries, representing governments, international organizations, leaders from public and private sectors, academics, students and civil society. The 2017 report was also issued, and it received favourable reviews. Media coverage was ensured and provided high publicity to OFID as a donor, with over 15 TV networks, 12 radio stations and 36 news agencies and papers.
