This US$15m loan will help the bank expand its activities of on-lending to micro, small and medium size enterprises (MSMEs), which are a vital part of the Cambodian economy as they provide between 40 and 50% of the population with jobs. OFID’s funding will not only help generate income for low-income people and vulnerable populations, it will also help promote economic growth, social stability and growth of the private sector.
