14th Conference on Sustainable Natural Resources Development and Science for Humanity

The grant was extended in support of the 14th Conference on “Sustainable Natural Resource Development and Science for Humanity” The conference was held from March 21 – 24, 2005, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to allow over 120 scientists to discuss issues related to the resources of oil and gas, biodiversity and minerals, primarily from a decision maker’s perspective and with the general objective of developing policy recommendations related to the management of natural resources, to promote the conservation and efficient use of these essential resources, as well as the protection of the environment and biological systems.
