This project will involve construction and equipping of a full-fledged, 249-bed Regional Health Center in the town of Ziniaré, situated 35 km from the capital Ouagadougou. The population in the project area comprise roughly 270,000 inhabitants, nearly 60% of who live below the poverty line and thus have little access to healthcare. The hospital will be approximately 13,700 m2 in size will include both out- and in-patient treatment and offer a wide range of specialities. On completion, the new facility is expected to improve maternal/infant health, fight diseases endemic to the area and provide the targeted population with quality healthcare services.
