The El-Amal Rehabilitation Society was established in 1991 in Rafah as a non-profit NGO covering the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip. The mission of the Society is to provide quality services to disabled people in Rafah district, particularly to deaf and normal children. The Society needed to upgrade and improve the quality of food and services offered for children with hearing impairment and vision disabilities.
