The grant has been extended with the aim to improve the education quality through the supply of electricity, thus enabling illumination, the expansion of potential teaching time, multimedia teaching aids and internet connections. The general objective of the project is to improve quality teaching and learning by using solar energy systems and help to bridge the gap between urban and rural schools.
