This project will provide rural populations in the Western Province with sustainable water supplies through the rehabilitation and construction of water points, boreholes and wells. The sanitation sector will be strengthened by the construction of around 600 sanitation facilities in public institutions, such as schools, health centers and other public places. Also planned are programs aimed at the advocacy, sensitization and promotion of sanitation and hygiene education, development of gender responsive training and promotional materials and school WASH programs, among other activities. Capacity building to enhance service delivery is also envisaged.
