The project assisted children and vulnerable mothers fight HIV/AIDS and seek to deliver jointOFID/UNICEF assistance to 17 countries across Africa, Asia and Latin America and the Caribbean to boost ongoing efforts at the country level. The project focused on the following three areas; (i) care, protection and support for orphans and vulnerable children; (ii) HIV prevention and life skills development for children living in the street; and (iii) prevention of maternal to child transmission of HIV with care and support for mothers.
