This program aimed to strengthen the legal framework and institutional capacity to fight HIV/AIDS as core determinants of poverty alleviation, enhanced human rights, and sustainable development. The purpose of the program is to safeguard the rights of HIV-affected persons, improve enforcement of laws consistent with public health goals, improve the legal framework, and monitoring of the implementation of relevant laws; and contribute to the global discussion of best practices relating to law and health. The beneficiaries will be lawyers and high-level governmental policy advisors from Ministries of Agriculture, Economy and Industry, Education, Health, Justice, Tourism, and Women Condition, as well as judges, prosecutors and police officers.
