The grant was extended for the provision of essential relief supplies and emergency operations undertaken by the Lebanese Red Cross Society and Syrian Red Crescent Society for the victims of the devastating cycle of violence in Lebanon. The grant was channelled through the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
