This project will enhance access to safe drinking water and sanitation services through the rehabilitation and expansion of related infrastructure. In turn, the project will reduce water losses and save energy, as well as having a positive impact on the health and welfare of the residents in Guantanamo Province, benefiting over 80,000 people. In addition, improved water supply systems and their positive impact on the environment will help attract more investments and strengthen local economic activities, especially in the area of tourism.
