The project aimed at exploring Djibouti's geothermal potential with a view to reinforcing Djibouti's basic infrastructure and developing its natural resources. It comprised:

  • pre-deep drilling;
  • consultancy services for the preparation of bidding documents;

  • project supervision firm;
  • technical assisntance to the executing agency; and
  • supplementary exploration surveys in the Gaggade area.
