This was the second phase of an OFID sponsored agricultural research project with the object to improve the livelihoods of farmers in salinity-affected environments, specifically to develop and disseminate high-yielding, salinity-tolerant sorghum and pearl millet cultivars as well as crop management technologies for economic and sustainable crop-livestock production.
