The University of Applied Sciences (UCAS) was established in 2006 in the Gaza strip. UCAS received its accreditation from the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education in 2007. This grant was extended to support the establishment of an audiology lab in order to provide early detection and interventions for hearing disorders among adults and children in the Gaza Strip.
