The project aimed at improving the medical services of two important departments at Al-Makassad Hospital through purchasing Bi-Plane coronary angiography system for the department of Cardiology and an angiography system including a radiocisotope scanner for the Encephalography department. The equipment is for microsurgery and detecting internal bleeding in the gastro-intestinal tract. The project's total cost is US$3,076,000.
