The grant to the African Water Association (AFWA) has been extended in support of the 16th International Congress and Exhibition, which was held in Morocco from February 20-23, 2012. The specific objectives of the conference were to present success stories and best practises in the rural and sanitation areas, to create opportunities to mobilize funds for potable water projects in Africa and to reinforce the technical capacities of African water professionals.
