The project aims at developing the vocational, prevocational and technical education system, and at strengthening the country's capabilities for meeting trained manpower requirements. It consists of the following components:
- renovation of training facilities at the Clifton Dupigny Technical College and the vocational blocks of two senior secondary schools (Goodwill and Portsmouth) and six junior secondary schools;
- acquisition of updated equipment and spare parts for the above facilities;
- implmentation of a fellowship training program in the Caribbean Region for about 10 vocational education instructors and eight vocational education supervisors;
- a program for internship trained abroad for about 4 technical instructors; and,
- provision of consumable supplies for use in the above facilities.
